A friend of mine was telling me recently that her daughter (5) was experiencing her first loose tooth. The story quickly turned into a rant about her daughter's classmate, who recently lost her first tooth and the "tooth fairy" left her, that's right $30!!
Can you believe that?! Thirty bucks for a TOOTH!! Now I'm not saying that it wasn't a momentous occasion, but that's almost a tank of gas!
Make it special? Absolutely! Get one of those gold dollar coins from the bank. It's special and sensible!
A tooth should be able to be financed from the loose change in the house. It shouldn't have to be worked into your monthly budget for crying out loud!
